Cute little girl outfit with free crochet patterns

Another outfit that I made for a baby shower! It was a huge hit! Instead of adding buttons, I just made three bows. One for the diaper cover and two for the slippers. Find the patterns below!

Go HERE for the bootie pattern. Note: You have to download the pattern. It's a pdf file.
Go HERE for the diaper cover pattern.
Go HERE for the headband pattern. Note: This video is for an adult! I just decreased the number of ch's to fit a newborn! You can also make the bow a bit smaller by doing the same thing. Just decrease to number of ch's, or use a smaller hook.

Happy Hooking!

Mickey Mouse outfit with links to free patterns!

I made this cute little outfit as a baby shower gift! It's perfect for those first newborn pictures! The diaper cover adjusts so that it can fit up to 9 months. My son is 10 months and he can fit in it perfectly. She used someone else's pattern and adjusted it a little. I added a tail also! I didn't add it before I took this picture so that's why you can't see it.

Pattern for tail:
Ch 35 (41 for a longer tail)
Row 1: Sc in 2nd from hook, sc across, ch 1, turn
Row 2: Sc across, fasten off, leave long tail for sewing.
Turn the diaper cover over and under the strap, find the middle. Sew the tail on. Weave ends in the tail!

This pattern was a bit tricky at first but I figured it out after a whole day of trying! In the pattern that I used, it said to fpdc. I am brand new at this so when I tried it, I couldn't get it right so I just hdc'ed for three more rows! I think it turned out pretty good for my first time trying this pattern. This is a must for my little boy and girls to wear for Christmas pictures!

You can find the pattern HERE.

HERE you can find a video of how to FPDC.

Cute little Owl and Angry Bird Hat (with a link to free pattern)

These were my first try of making these hats! The owl hat is perfect for that little girl or adults with a fascination with owls (as you can clearly see I have!)

The Angry Bird hat is my favorite! I had so much fun making it, and it took me only a few hours! It's so fast and easy! The right eye brow looks a little wonk because of the way the hat was sitting, but it is pure perfection! I made this for a little boy who loves Angry Birds! The nose is different from the pattern.

My nose pattern: (for the Angry Bird hat)
**For a small nose to fit a child's size hat**
Ch 6
Row 1: Sc in 1st ch from hook and across, ch 1, turn
Row 2. Sc decrease, sc next 2, sc decrease, ch 1, turn
Row 3. 2 sc decreases, ch 1, turn
Row 4. Sc decrease, fasten off, leave long tail for sewing.

**For a larger nose for an adult size hat**
Ch 10
Row 1: Sc in 1st ch from hook and across, ch 1, turn
Row 2: Sc decrease, sc next 6, sc decrease, ch 1, turn
Row 3: Sc decrease, sc next 4, sc decrease, ch 1, turn
Row 4: Sc decrease, sc next 2, sc decrease, ch 1, turn
Row 5: 2 sc decreases, ch 1, turn
Row 6: Sc decrease, fasten off, leave long tail fro sewing.
